Local Homebuilder—New Home Sales Manager

JOB OVERVIEW
We are currently seeking a highly organized and motivated team member with a strong and proven background in selling new homes and/or residential real estate. The ideal candidate possesses a passion for design and real estate, coupled with excellent sales and interpersonal skills.

In addition to traditional new home sales, we are seeking someone with a background in marketing to lead the sales and marketing strategy for us with an eye toward growth and scalability.

Our company, which designs, develops and builds Smart & Green homes and small communities, is growing quickly and we are looking for a resourceful, top-tier, professional to grow with us!

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage all aspects of new home sales
  • Demonstrate model homes, homes in construction, and/or available home sites
  • Provide timely and consistent follow-through with current customers from initial contact to after closing through proficient and detailed record keeping of all communications throughout the home buying process
  • Travel throughout the local community in order to self-generate sales from Realtor/Co-Broker businesses, referrals, and self-prospecting
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of the competitive marketplace, including product, site, local community, sales, advertising, and demographics
  • Monitor and record daily customer traffic through specific documentation steps in a timely manner and for report generation
  • Participate in neighborhood promotions and marketing programs
  • Maintain 'On Market' properties and communicate with the field team for proper maintenance and secure daily
  • Lead and/or assist in processing complete paperwork to result in escrows closing in a timely manner
  • Maintain the condition of the model homes communicating with the field and office for maintenance
  • Must have good communication skills, be highly organized and exhibit maximum efficiency with a team player attitude and strong work ethic. A willingness to provide positive support and interaction with co-associates, customers, outside Real Estate agents and Brokers. The ability to demonstrate self-motivation, resourcefulness, and to project and achieve goals under limited supervision
  • Hold Open properties full time (Covid Safe)
  • Guide Sales & Marketing strategy for homes and developments
  • Attend twice weekly team meetings
  • Update management on sales activity and leads
  • Conduct Build-to-Suit sales meetings with clients
  • Provide feedback to Design for current and future projects
  • Attend local real estate tours

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Active AZ real estate license
  • Knowledge of construction, finance and escrow processes a plus
  • Self-starter who does NOT need to be micromanaged
  • PASSION for design, architecture and real estate
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • College preferred
  • Resourceful Problem Solver who thrives on wearing several ‘hats’ in a business
  • Strong Sense of Design and Aesthetics
  • Proven ability to handle multiple priorities, organize efficiently, and manage time effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence
  • Computer proficiency with Google Docs, Excel, Asana, Builder Trend and the ability to learn new applications
  • Demonstrated judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Event Planning experience is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
