WHAT TO EXPECT
As an innovation leader, we look for ambitious, forward thinking, open-minded and well-rounded individuals to join our global team. You will be working out of your home office, where you will be in charge of selling TPU products throughout our West region. The ideal location for this role would be centrally located within the region. It consists of the following states: Arizona, California, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Utah, Nevada, and Alaska.
- You'll be working closely with operations, marketing, and engineering teams for business/project/product development according to specific customer needs.
- This is an exciting opportunity for you because you will be hunting for new customers 75% of the time and then growing our relationships with current customers 25% of the time.
- You'll be responsible for lead generation, qualification, business development, and account management within assigned geographic territory.
- Your goal will be to develop sales strategies and manage channel to market most effectively to grow business in territory and exceed sales and growth targets.
Key responsibilities:
- Works closely with operations, marketing, and engineering teams for business/project/product development according to specific customer needs.
- Engages in extensive customer contact to conduct sales and service activities; develop strong customer relationships; introduces new products, identifies product applications, and keeps accounts informed of product developments.
ABOUT YOU
- 7+ years of progressive sales experience
- Bachelor's degree required
- Experience with Motion Control or Power Transmission is preferred
- Must have knowledge of mechanical engineering and manufacturing processes
- Basic understanding of CAD
- Relocation is not provided
- 60-75% travel is allotted where it will be 50% driving in your company vehicle and 50% flying
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
- Fundamental understanding of automation system design and motion control as applied to conveyors, intralogistics, packaging, food processing, medical equipment, automotive industries.
