The Field Sales Representative plays a key role in helping Diamond succeed in our market growth, while simultaneously helping us deliver an exceptional customer experience. Position – Field Sales Representative

Responsibilities

· Source and develop self-generated leads and appointments with potential Diamond Elevator customers

· Conduct field sales visits at job sites throughout the sales territory

· Estimating, bidding, and negotiating elevators, wheelchair lifts, and dumbwaiters for new installation projects

· Providing effective sales presentations, basic elevator consultation and technical guidance to building owners, general contractors, architects, and consultants

· Overseeing job details throughout sales process, including managing contract documents, creating approvals and layouts and tracking to completion

· Develop effective self-generation sales strategies

· Evaluate customer knowledge, and needs, building productive and long lasting relationships

· Accurately build and quote projects through our design and quoting tools

· Ensure clean transition post-sale activity to other teams by providing complete and accurate customer information

· Manage the pipeline of activity from prospect to hand-off by following up with all leads and outstanding quoted projects

· Attend all sales/production meetings, and follow Diamond’s sales process

· Engage in local proactive lead generation activities as defined by the sales manager

· Professional appearance and attitude is of the upmost importance

Qualifications

· Candidate will have 3+ years of proven outside sales experience in a related field such as HVAC, Solar, Construction with related industry knowledge.

· Candidates must possess proficient oral/written communication and presentation skills to effectively interact with a wide variety of people with diverse backgrounds of all levels and disciplines, including general contractors and architects

· Must be proficient with reading/understanding architectural drawings and specifications or willing to learn

  • Candidates must be able to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment
  • Self-motivated individuals with a competitive drive, who have the ability to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities are a must
  • Candidates should have a student mindset with the ability to adapt and grow within the role

· Must have home internet broadband

· Industry knowledge a plus but not required

· Proficient in Google Suite and CRM tools

· Ability to communicate and partner cross-functionally to address customer needs

· Ability to drive a vehicle during the normal course of business

· Must maintain a clean driving record with the ability to pass a driving & background check

· Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver s license

· Must have access to a reliable vehicle daily to perform necessary job functions

· Must pass a pre-screening drug test

Job Types: Full-time, Commission

Requirements (What we look for in candidates): Must-haves: - 4-8 years of work experience in any customer-facing sales role. - Clear, concise, and effective written and oral communication skills. - Empathy towards customers and understanding their needs. - Interest, curiosity, and openness to learning new technologies. - Prior exposure to tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, DiscoverOrg, ZoomInfo, etc. - Good interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders as well as end customers. - Learning mindset and the right attitude that will help you thrive and adapt in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. - Ability to handle rejections and stay focused and driven. - Ability to multi-task and manage your tasks effectively. - Flexibility in working in different shifts/regions. This is absolutely mandatory because you will be expected to work in a specific shift for a minimum of two years. Good to have: - Prior work experience in SaaS product companies in domains relevant to Freshworks' suite of products. - A proven track record of consistency in overachieving targets.
