Title: Business Development Manager
Location: Sacramento, Hayward , Vacaville
We are in search of an analytical, driven, and results-oriented Business Development Manager to steer our partnerships and business to new heights. The ideal candidate will be responsible for attracting and securing business, developing relationships, and identifying new business opportunities that yield profitable results. We are seeking an individual with a well-established client base.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct high-level industry research to develop effective sales solutions
- Promote the company’s products or services to prospective clients
- Participate in collaborative business meetings to update key stakeholders
- Provide continuous, constructive feedback to salespeople
- Review sales contracts to ensure they meet legal and corporate guidelines
- Interact with clients and respond to inquiries about the company’s products or services
- Develop and execute a personal strategy to grow long-term business and achieve sales and revenue goals
- Lead landscape analysis and relationship building for new partnerships
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders both internally and externally regarding product strategy, market trend, technology, and pricing to drive business expansion
- Develop strong relationships across the organization, including the business, legal, product, marketing, and engineering organizations
- Self-manage sales flow through Salesforce CRM
- Produce stellar sales presentations and other collateral
Skills and qualifications:
- Proven record of sales growth
- Experience in customer service, marketing, or a sales-related field
- Strong knowledge of business and sales growth techniques
- Exceptional project management skills
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Enthusiasm for the company and its growth potential
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in managing sales or marketing teams
- Sharp negotiation and networking skills
- Organizational skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Educational background in business, marketing, or finance
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in a business development role
- Entrepreneurial and excellent at pitching new concepts through impactful business cases that demonstrate meaningful value
- Proven results in partnerships, including negotiating agreements, navigating complex organizations, onboarding partners, and managing/optimizing ongoing relationships
- Understanding of market trends, analytics, customer needs, and competitive intelligence data
- Comfortable managing through change and working in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
