AIRLINE ACCOUNT MANAGER

LSG SKY CHEFS is the global leader in airline catering and the management of all in-flight service related processes.

The Airline Account Manager acts as a liaison with all department Managers in the Customer Service Center (CSC) and airline(s) regarding performance issues and customers’ requests performance and overall account needs.

Responsibilities of the Airline Account Manager:

  • Develop and maintain an excellent relationship with the assigned account(s) and act as a liaison between the CSC, the airline and the Key Account Manager at HDQ
  • Ensure accurate billing and provisioning to the airline by auditing with the billing team
  • Support transportation to ensure the on time departure of all flights using catering guidelines
  • Support the respective departments regarding all airline cycle changes
  • Maintain customer specifications and monitor changes
  • Ensure that the airlines performance measurement system is taken into account in each department
  • Coordinate and participate in all CSC evaluations by the customer. Distribute evaluation feedback to department Managers and ensure response is provided in a timely manner
  • Support the safety supervisor to monitor and ensure CSC compliance with the airlines safety expectations
  • Maintain flight attendant comment and delay database in excel and provide high level detail to senior leadership while also working with departments to root cause and solve for any issues
  • Support the chef in menu presentations as needed, assist in Chef tables
  • Ensure par levels of customer inventory and customer specific goods

Required Skills of Account Manager:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • In addition, two to five years of experience in related field
  • Strong project management, presentation, communication, training and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrable record of understanding and meeting customer expectations
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications

Requirements (What we look for in candidates): Must-haves: - 4-8 years of work experience in any customer-facing sales role. - Clear, concise, and effective written and oral communication skills. - Empathy towards customers and understanding their needs. - Interest, curiosity, and openness to learning new technologies. - Prior exposure to tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, DiscoverOrg, ZoomInfo, etc. - Good interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders as well as end customers. - Learning mindset and the right attitude that will help you thrive and adapt in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. - Ability to handle rejections and stay focused and driven. - Ability to multi-task and manage your tasks effectively. - Flexibility in working in different shifts/regions. This is absolutely mandatory because you will be expected to work in a specific shift for a minimum of two years. Good to have: - Prior work experience in SaaS product companies in domains relevant to Freshworks' suite of products. - A proven track record of consistency in overachieving targets.
