Job Description


Our team of Bilingual Account Managers are the front line of our business and are directly responsible for the generation of new business through inbound and outbound channels. The position will serve as a customer facing role to both external customers as well as internal stakeholders. This is an inside sales role that works to provide customers with auto financing options to enhance their purchasing power. The Bilingual Account Manager is responsible to manage customers through the sales funnel, foster relationships of existing customers, and provide auto financing solutions to customers across Canada.


  • Receive, organize and prepare credit applications accurately and within established timelines
  • Strategically prioritize and manage outbound call opportunities, while responding to inbound calls
  • To complete the sales process, establish relationships with customers over the phone while expanding on existing customer relationships with previous customers
  • Strategically advise the customer on their auto financing options and competitive solutions
  • Introduce and sell our auto finance services to current and future customers
  • Assist with the execution of sales strategies for the sales channel and contribute to its success
  • Track and follow up with lost business to establish long term relationships for future business
  • Provide detailed credit submissions that include all relevant information required
  • Negotiate with potential clients the terms of financial packages, including selling the terms of credit approvals and closing financing transactions, with a focus on meeting and exceeding targets
  • Process all loan applications within an acceptable timeframe as well as following application guidelines, ensuring all outstanding loan related information is collected
  • Monitor, escalate, or recommend loan application exceptions and overrides so that they are appropriately handled in an efficient manner
  • Maintain a client database through IFT’s client relationship management software to effectively manage client resources
  • Troubleshoot deficiencies in funding or other aspects that arise in the sale/transaction process
  • Exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial revenue targets

  • 1+ year of auto sales experience
  • Experience in the financial services sector is an asset
  • Proven experience in B2B or B2C inside sales
  • Post-secondary diploma or bachelor’s degree is an asset
  • Fluency in French and English
