Overview:

EightPM is looking to expand our fast-growing team with business development representatives who are self-motivated and hard working. If connecting with your favorite brands to put them in top trending television and films sounds exciting, then this is for you. As a Business Development Representative, you will generate, cultivate, and pursue new and existing business opportunities. You will own and manage your accounts from start to finish. Your success in this role directly depends on your ability to work as a team and your willingness to win! Although this position doesn’t require cold calling, individuals with cold calling experience in a high-energy sales environment will thrive.

EightPM is the leader in product placement and product integrations. With the largest number of in-network production studios that produce content for Netflix, Hulu, Apple+, Disney+, and Amazon we are able to aggressively integrate our clients' products into pop culture. We only work with truly remarkable brands with some highlights being Impossible Foods, Jeni’s Ice Cream, Tonal, Black Lives Matter, and Milk Bar. With a passion for TV, Film, and challenger brands, we are putting the brands we love into the spotlight.

A significant portion of your work for this position may be performed remotely. Reliable transportation and residency in the greater Austin area are required for in-person training and in-office meetings. For the duration of the Covid-19 pandemic, in-person, in-office meetings will be limited. When in-person meetings are required, our office follows the safe social guidelines set in place by the city of Austin.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Researching & qualifying new business prospects
  • Coordinating & scheduling appointments with qualified prospects via email (no cold calling)
  • Preparing for & completing scheduled presentation calls with prospects
  • Nurturing existing business relationships & identifying growth opportunities
  • Keeping up with our industry so that you can continue to navigate & overcome common objections
  • All other assigned duties

Required Experience:

  • At least 1-year experience in a fast-paced business to business sales environment with a demonstrated ability to meet & exceed job expectations

Competencies:

  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • A positive disposition with the ability to self motivate & manage
  • Ability to prospect new business & generate new leads
  • Ability to build customer relationships & negotiate business deals

Pay: $31,200/year + commission; on target earnings of $45-58,000 per year. This position has no salary or commission cap.
