We are looking for a reliable, experienced Outside Sales Manager who is responsible for the statewide promotion and partnering with Meeting Planners, Local Corporations, Community Groups, Area Hotels, Destination Companies, Convention & Visitor Bureaus/Associations, and other relevant groups through outside sales strategies to generate new and increased FIT and Charter sales for Polynesian Adventure Tours and Polynesian Adventure Activities

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION:

· Associate's Degree (two year college or technical school) preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

· Two (2) to four (4) years related experience. Minimum three years in the travel industry with management experience in sales.

KNOWLEDGE, REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:

  • Must possess strong sales and marketing skills, and understanding of financial principles.
  • Demonstrated sales negotiation skill.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management & organizational skills, and able to consistently meet deadlines.
  • Working level ability in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to regularly travel in-area to generate sales more than 50% of the workweek
  • Ability to work extended hours including nights and weekends.
  • Ability to conduct site inspections.
  • Public speaking experience.
  • Must have reliable transportation.

Salary: Commensurate with experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability
