SALARY: $70,000 - $85,000, bonus eligible
Location: Onsite – Four Peaks Brewing Co. Tempe, AZ
ROLE SUMMARY:
The Regional Sales Manager performs complex work related to the comprehensive sales strategy. This position is responsible for analyzing industrial trends, including pricing, style trends, and providing recommendations to the Sales Director allowing for strategy to be developed. Sales staff can rely on this position to provide them with sales analytics and forecasting data. The person will work directly with state managers or state reps in his/her territory to establish clear communication to ensure sales objectives are fulfilled and inventory is properly managed.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform sales and pricing analysis including impact on market share and profitability.
Work independently conducting research on various sales execution and pricing strategies to uncover root-cause issues/opportunities.
Manages a data analysis program to include routine and cyclical market measurement.
Partners with staff at all levels to provide support in individual performance analysis.
Responsible for ensuring all brands are legally registered and approved for sale.
Creates and updates sales presentations for use in communication meetings, retailer visits, and planning meetings.
Evaluates brand/package sales promotions and suggests modifications to enhance sales/profitability.
Supports the sales staff with trends, tracking and execution.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in business, management, or related field, preferred but not required.
5+ years of experience in Sales or Promotions in beverage/alcohol industry preferred.
Certified Beer Server or Certified Cicerone preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
Thorough knowledge of company products and industry best practices (beer and merchandise).
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, customers, and third-party partners.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including familiarity and proven experience in the areas of advanced formulas and PivotTables is preferred.
Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize projects.
Experience with OBEER a plus.
Possesses critical thinking skills and is able to work independently.
Experience utilizing and interpreting syndicated data and databases. Including but not limited to: IRI, Nelson, Business Objects, and Wholesaler Data.
