Pay Basis/Status: Salary/Exempt

Reports to: Executive Director

Initial Annual Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 per year, plus commission.

Silvergate Fallbrook is actively seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead the business development, grow brand awareness, and help continue the success of this premier senior living community located in the beautiful, rural community of Fallbrook, CA.

The Sales Director is responsible for maintaining monthly community deposit and move-in goals as set forth in the annual budget and marketing plan. In addition, this position is responsible for helping educate local seniors and their families about the benefits of senior living & Silvergate, and maintaining strong referral sources to help maintain our occupancy goals.

Silvergate Fallbrook is owned and operated by AmeriCare Health & Retirement, Inc., a family run local San Diego based company, which has developed and managed the Silvergate Retirement Residence communities for nearly 40 years. Silvergate Fallbrook is one of three existing Silvergate communities in San Diego County, joining its sister communities in Rancho Bernardo and San Marcos.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Schedules & conducts tours of the property with the goal of moving potential clients into the community
  • Achieves a minimum of one deposit per week, contributing to the goal of 4-5 move-ins per month as set forth in annual budget and marketing plan
  • Make 150-200 weekly telephone calls and emails to prospective residents or their family/responsible party as needed
  • Respond promptly to website leads, phone inquiries, walk-ins, and referrals
  • Builds and maintains online lead database (CRM) of potential clients
  • Builds relationships with potential clients in person, and over the phone/email
  • Coordinates sales efforts with all other departments. Ensures that move-ins are smooth for new residents and all attention to detail has been accomplished by day of move-in
  • Seeks out and targets new customers and new sales opportunities
  • Deliver gifts and make regular visits to prospective residents homes on a regular basis
  • Attend regular networking gatherings to stay familiar with area competition and promote our company within the community
  • Responsible for generating weekly & monthly sales reports
  • Responsible for collecting initial reservation deposit, and other fees as needed for move-in, as well as processing all new admission paperwork in a timely manner
  • Attend daily stand-up meetings, weekly sales 1:1 meetings and other meetings as required
  • Flexible to work evenings and weekends on occasion
  • Handle administrative and move-in paperwork efficiently
  • Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years experience in senior living
  • Must have sales experience and CRM proficiency
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Computer proficiency with ability to maintain customer database
  • Knowledge and understanding of senior living industry, benefits, understanding of the aging process & the importance of social networks,
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills including in-person, on the phone, and speaking
  • Polished in appearance and professional dress with ability to project credibility
  • A passion for assisting seniors and enabling their wellbeing
  • A self-starter and work with minimal supervision
  • Fluent in speaking, reading and writing English

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position requires the ability to bend, squat, stoop, climb, kneel, and stand on feet for extended periods of time, as well as the ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Job offer is contingent on the following:

  • Must pass background check
  • Must pass drug test, pre-employment physical and TB test
  • Valid California drivers license and reliable transportation

This is an in-office position working regular business hours Monday Friday and occasionally non-standard times for events and/or emergencies.
