Job Description

Relevant du directeur régional des ventes, le représentant des ventes de territoire est chargé de créer de nouveaux comptes clients pour Supérieur Propane. Travaillant dans un territoire et/ou un secteur d'activité défini, le représentant commercial de territoire commercialisera et vendra les produits et services de Supérieur Propane à de nouveaux clients afin d'atteindre les buts et objectifs de vente prédéfinis.


RESPONSABILITÉS CLÉS :


  • Collaborer avec le directeur régional des ventes afin d'élaborer, de recommander et d'exécuter un plan de vente qui tire parti des programmes et des ressources nationaux et régionaux afin d'atteindre systématiquement les objectifs de vente mensuels, trimestriels et annuels.
  • Prospecter, rechercher et identifier de nouvelles opportunités d'affaires et travailler sur le plan de vente pour sensibiliser, découvrir les besoins des clients et fournir des solutions de produits et de services.
  • Initie et dirige le cycle/processus de vente en tant qu'expert en la matière et agit en tant que contact et ressource clé du client. Construit de solides relations d'affaires avec les clients potentiels et gère l'entonnoir/le cycle de vente en assurant un suivi continu de leurs besoins commerciaux actuels et en anticipant leurs besoins commerciaux futurs.
  • Préparer et présenter avec assurance des propositions de vente, y compris les prix et les conditions des produits et services, aux principaux décideurs. Influencer, négocier et conclure la vente en gardant à l'esprit les meilleurs intérêts de l'entreprise et du client.
  • Collabore avec l'équipe de direction régionale et l'engage à s'assurer que les besoins du client peuvent être et seront satisfaits.
  • Communiquer régulièrement et préparer des rapports sur les indicateurs clés de performance et la communication sur la progression des ventes dans l'entonnoir/le cycle de vente et les réalisations. Connaît intimement la base de clients et l'activité de la région et utilise les informations et les données pour tirer parti des opportunités de vente et recommander des stratégies de vente.
  • Résoudre les problèmes au fur et à mesure qu'ils se présentent et impliquer les experts en la matière et les décideurs clés si nécessaire pour éliminer les obstacles.
  • S'approprier le compte, de la prospection à la gestion continue du compte.
  • Promouvoir et représenter Supérieur Propane de façon positive et professionnelle au sein de la communauté et de l'industrie auprès de tous les clients, concurrents et associés de l'industrie.


QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Cinq (5) à dix ans d'expérience en vente, avec un dossier de croissance des ventes éprouvé.
  • Forte concentration sur le développement de nouvelles affaires
  • Compétences exceptionnelles en matière de service à la clientèle et de gestion des relations
  • Excellentes compétences écrites, verbales et de présentation
  • Sens aigu des affaires, compétences financières et analytiques
  • Solides compétences en leadership
  • Compétences supérieures en matière d'organisation et de gestion du temps
  • Aptitude à résoudre les problèmes
  • Compétences informatiques (Windows, MS Office, SalesForce, un atout)
  • Connaissance de l'industrie du propane et/ou de l'industrie pétrolière et gazière, un atout.
  • Permis de conduire valide
  • Capacité de voyager de 2 à 3 nuits par mois
  • Bilingue

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Territory Sales Representative is responsible for building new customer accounts for Superior Propane. Working within a defined Territory and/or Line-of-Business, the Territory Sales Representative will market and sell Superior Propane products and services to new customers to successfully achieve predefined sales goals and objectives.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:


  • Collaborates with the Regional Sales Manager to develop, recommend and execute a sales plan that leverages national and regional programs and resources to consistently meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Prospects, researches and identifies new business opportunities and works the sales plan to create awareness, discover customer needs and deliver product and service solutions.
  • Initiates and leads the sales cycle/process as a subject matter expert and acts as the customer’s key contact and resource. Builds strong business relationships with prospective customers and manages the sales funnel/cycle by continually following up on their current business needs and anticipating future business needs.
  • Prepares and confidently presents sales proposals, including pricing and product/service terms, to key decision makers. Influences, negotiates and closes the sale with the best interest of the company and the customer in mind.
  • Collaborates with and engages the Regional Leadership Team to ensure the needs of the customer can be and will be met.
  • Communicates regularly and prepares reports on key performance indicators and communication on sales progress within the sales funnel/cycle and achievements. Intimately knows customer base and area activity and utilizes information and data to capitalize on sales opportunities and recommend sales strategies.
  • Resolves any issues as they arise and involves subject matter experts and key decision makers as needed to remove obstacles.
  • Owns the account from prospecting through to ongoing account management.
  • Promotes and represents Superior Propane positively and professionally within the community and industry to all customers, competitors and industry associates.


QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Five (5) to 10 years sales experience, with proven sales growth record

  • Knowledge of the propane industry and/or oil & gas industry an asset
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to travel for 2-3 nights per month
  • Bilingual
