Job Description

Title: Customer Service Advisor

An enthusiastic self-starter with strong planning skills and drive to improve existing processes and systems is highly desired. Excellent organizational skills, ability to balance immediate/long term priorities and exceptional multi-tasking skills are a necessity.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Positive upbeat attitude when assisting customers on customer service calls
  • A strong ability to help customers through all stages of product life cycle
  • Daily auditing of sales order entry to ensure accuracy of all customer orders; Verify pricing, inventory availability and other conditions; Use of excel to review and audit sales orders
  • Communicate daily with Supply Chain planning team to ensure inventory shortages are minimized
  • Working closely with JS sales, Finance and Warehouse teams to identify and resolve any internal order issue with customer or item set up
  • Review and monitor Open Order report to ensure all orders ship as scheduled
  • Partnering with Supply Chain & Logistics team to ensure customer orders ship on time, accurately and according to customer routing guide specifications
  • Establish and maintain communications, as needed, with key Sales and Operations stakeholders throughout the order fulfillment process. Report includes new order, open order and pending shipment report.
  • Track and follow up of known issues and important orders on a daily basis.
  • Work as liaison for customer communication between our freight, inventory, and production teams
  • Report and Monitor Backorders
  • Manage and report on Internal JS KPIs like Order Fill Rate
  • Identify and maintain errors in EDI documents transmitted from customers

Fulfill other duties as required

 Preparation of ad hoc reporting as requested by Customer Service Manager or JS Senior
Management

 Work with CS Manager to Identify and implement process improvement procedures

Desired Skills Required:

 Bachelors or Associates degree from an accredited college or 2 years of relevant experience

 Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word

 Proven problem-solving, coordination and expediting skills

 Zendesk experience is a plus

 Demonstrated ability to independently resolve complex issues and develop solutions consistent with established procedures and practices.

 Ability to work through others effectively, set priorities, and provide honest feedback

 Knowledge of Bill of Materials (BOM) structure.

 Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to high quality work

 Strong self-motivation and the ability to work aggressively to complete projects on time

 Experience with Great Plains Software a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
