ORGANIZATIONAL PROFILE:
Foreseeson Technology Inc. was established in 2001 in Richmond, BC. Over the last two decades, it has grown into a multi-faceted technology company specializing in electronic manufacturing, IT security distribution, and electric vehicle charging solutions. With a 50,000-square-foot facility and a focus on innovation and sustainability, Foreseeson continues to lead in industries such as green technology and secure IT solutions. The company’s services include IT distribution for managed security service providers (MSSPs), electronics assembly, and EV charging equipment, with more than 900 IT partners and over 1 million products built.

THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Vice President of Sales (“VP of Sales”) is a strategic leadership role pivotal to shaping and driving the sales vision for the Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) Business Division (“the Division”). The VP Sales will be in charge of the sales of Green Technologies including EV Chargers, Batteries and other developments by Foreseeson. This role is key in propelling revenue growth, cultivating and maintaining strategic customer relationships, and inspiring a high-performance sales team to consistently meet and exceed ambitious sales goals. The VP of Sales will work in close partnership with Marketing and Executive Leadership to ensure that sales initiatives are not only aligned with but also advance the Division’s business objectives and capitalize on emerging market opportunities.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales Strategy Development
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the Division’s overall goals and objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Set ambitious yet achievable sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and team performance.
Leadership and Team Management:
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire the sales team, providing clear guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.
  • Foster a high-performance culture by designing and implementing training and development programs for sales professionals.
  • Regularly monitor team performance metrics to ensure consistent target achievement and maintain accountability.
Business Development:
  • Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Lead negotiations for major contracts and high-value sales opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with marketing and new product development teams to implement cohesive business development strategies.
Market Analysis and Insights:
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to understand trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
  • Monitor competitor activities and industry developments to stay ahead of market shifts.
  • Provide insights and strategic recommendations to the executive team on market opportunities, risks, and potential areas of growth.
Revenue and Sales Operations Management:
  • Set monthly and annual sales budgets by sales representative and product lines.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, providing detailed variance analyses and accurate sales forecasting.
  • Optimize sales operations by ensuring efficient processes and utilizing CRM and sales tools effectively.
  • Proactively anticipate customer needs, addressing concerns to improve satisfaction and retention.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to ensure that sales strategies are aligned with the company’s broader business goals.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to design and execute effective go-to-market strategies.
Reporting and Communication:
  • Present regular sales reports and updates to the executive team, offering detailed insights into performance, challenges, and growth opportunities.
  • Communicate key sales data and strategic initiatives across departments to ensure alignment and support.
  • Serve as the spokesperson for the EVSE Business Division, conducting presentations and representing the Division to key stakeholders, including current and potential clients, partners, investors and industry leaders.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Other responsibilities as required by the CEO to support the continued growth and success of the Division.
  • Adapt to changing business needs by undertaking ad-hoc initiatives and responding to the evolving EV industry trends.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred for enhanced strategic and financial acumen.
  • Extensive industry experience with a minimum of 10 years in senior sales leadership roles, ideally within technology distribution, green technology, IT security, or the Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute innovative sales strategies that drive substantial revenue growth and position the business for long-term success.
  • Proven track record of building and leading high-performing sales teams, with strong team management skills and a commitment to cultivating talent and driving results.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, enabling the development of strong, lasting partnerships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Skilled in analyzing market data, customer insights, and competitive trends to make informed, strategic business decisions that align with company objectives.
  • Proficient in CRM platforms and advanced sales forecasting tools, utilizing technology to enhance sales planning, tracking, and reporting.
  • Proven ability to successfully expand into new markets, effectively navigate competitive landscapes, and achieve sales growth in challenging environments.
TOTAL REWARDS:
  • Annual Salary: $100,000 - $120,000
  • Eligible for a highly competitive annual bonus program, tied to both company and individual performance achievements.
