We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Roofing Consultant to join our team on a performance based pay scale. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance to clients regarding roofing solutions, ensuring they receive the best products and services tailored to their needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills and a passion for customer service, with the ability to build lasting relationships with clients.

Duties

Conduct thorough assessments of clients' roofing needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
Engage in outside sales activities, including cold calling, door knocking and lead generation to expand the client base.
Perform product demonstrations to showcase the benefits of various roofing materials and systems.
Manage assigned territory effectively, ensuring consistent follow-up with potential and existing clients.
Develop new business opportunities through networking and relationship-building efforts.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure sales while maintaining profitability.
Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution from initial consultation through completion.

Experience

Proven Sales Experience: 1-3 years of experience in sales (roofing or construction industry preferred, but not required).
Strong Communication Skills: Ability to explain roofing solutions to homeowners in a clear and compelling manner.
Self-Motivated: Must be driven, energetic, and capable of working independently.
Negotiation Skills: Experience in closing deals and overcoming customer objections.
Reliable Transportation: Ability to travel locally to meet clients at their homes and job sites.
Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office/Google Suite.
Willingness to Learn: If you're not experienced in roofing, we offer comprehensive training.
