Sales Manager – Nutraceutical Contract Manufacturer
Location: Tempe, AZ
Employment Type: Full-time (On-site)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, with occasional travel for trade shows and client meetings.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Manager to lead business development and manage client accounts within the nutraceutical industry. This business-to-business role targets dietary supplement brands and requires a professional with a passion for sales, excellent account management skills, and a strong track record of generating new leads. The Sales Manager will work closely with the Director of Sales and will play a critical role in achieving company revenue goals by fostering long-term customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
The ideal candidate has an established network within the nutraceutical industry, a proven ability to drive sales, and experience in managing both existing and new accounts. Industry experience in contract manufacturing, particularly within the dietary supplement space, is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities with dietary supplement brands and other companies in the nutraceutical space.
- Manage and expand existing key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients to meet and exceed sales targets and growth objectives.
- Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned with company goals.
- Represent Arizona Custom Blends at industry trade shows (e.g., SupplySide West, Expo West) and during customer meetings.
- Track and report on key performance metrics, providing actionable insights to optimize sales performance.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and innovations to identify potential growth opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Proven success in a sales management role within the nutraceutical industry.
- A minimum of 3 years of industry experience is preferred.
- Strong professional network within the nutraceutical or dietary supplement industry.
- Deep understanding of the nutraceutical manufacturing process, with experience in contract manufacturing being a plus.
- Self-motivated with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to travel for trade shows and client meetings as required.
