Senior IT Business Analyst

What you will do for Fay:

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather and document project requirements, translating them into functional specifications and user stories for technical teams.
• Lead and contribute to team projects and initiatives including strategic planning efforts to ensure process handoffs, effective controls, and realization of project benefits.
• Communicate project scope, objectives, costs, and benefits to executive leadership and facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to clarify goals and gather feedback.
• Perform data and process analysis for ongoing and ad-hoc needs, tracking work progress and statuses in JIRA Azure DevOps.
• Act as a liaison between the business and IT to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and roadblocks proposing mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
• Support testing and quality assurance by validating that solutions meet business requirements and provide post-implementation support including troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
• Develop domain knowledge of Fay’s business to include an understanding of organizational objectives.
• Ensure compliance with Fay’s policies, processes, and practices. Successfully completed all department and company-required training.
• Model Fay’s Values, Operating Principles, ethical standards, professionalism, and code of conduct.

• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

What you will bring to Fay:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field (or equivalent combination of years of experience with High School diploma/ GED) required
• 5+ years’ experience as an IT Business Analyst or Systems Analyst with expertise in requirements elicitation, backlog management, creating process flows, feature lists, use cases and user stories
• 3+ years' experience in project or product management
• 2+ years' experience in Agile Business Analysis, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and test case scenarios; familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology preferred
• Proficiency in business requirements documentation, technical specifications, use cases, and test cases
• Preferred experience with BI, reporting, and SQL, with familiarity in Azure DevOps and MSP
• Experience in the financial services or mortgage industry preferred
• Ability to analyze and interpret data to identify opportunities and propose solutions
