Jetson is on a mission to accelerate the transition of 100M homes across North America away from burning fossil fuels to sustainable energy use. Here at Jetson, we believe in a future that is 100% electric and 100% better.
Homes are one of the largest sources of carbon emissions, which can be dramatically reduced by converting to heat pumps, however, adoption lags due to high cost and friction in the retrofit process today. Solving one layer of the value chain won’t move the needle on adoption. Mass adoption will come when it becomes a no-brainer for homeowners to transition. That is why Jetson is building the first fully vertically integrated home electrification company. Jetson will make it simple, transparent and affordable for everyone to get a heat pump.
Job Overview:
We are looking for a hungry, smart, and collaborative sales professional who believes the time is now to make a difference. This is an opportunity to join at the ground floor and make a direct impact on accelerating the electrification of homes.
Responsibilities:
- Follow-up with prospects from initial contact, to qualifying and gathering requirements to closing to meet monthly new business targets
- Generate new leads through cold-calling, social selling, door-to-door or other innovative sales tactics to keep pipeline at 5x sales target
- Prepare installation quotes and guide prospects through home electrification upgrade options, rebate eligibility and processes
- Maintain records and leverage automation in CRM
- Monitor sales performance metrics, prepare reports for senior management, and adjust strategies as necessary to meet targets.
- Understand trends, competition, and provide feedback on customer needs to inform and continuously improve marketing and sales strategies and product development.
Requirements:
- Excited and inspired by our mission to make a dramatic impact on climate change
- 2 or more years selling related products or services to the residential homeowner
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Experience in HVAC, electrical or plumbing services an asset
- Entrepreneurial mindset with experience working in a startup environment or similar fast-paced, rapidly growing company
- High impact verbal (phone) and written (email, SMS) English communication skills
- Comfortable using sales productivity technologies (CRM, sales sequencing, conversation analytics, etc)
- Commitment to continuous self-improvement in a fast-paced environment
- Excels in a team setting and values collaboration and open communication
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000 - $90,000 OTE per year
