The Functional Analytics Program Manager will direct analytics strategy and operationalization within our recruiting functions with the goal of empowering recruiting leaders to integrate data into daily decisions as well as into strategic planning. In this role, you will lead a team of business analytics partners to identify the relevant analytics for your recruiting function, influence decision making based on the work of your team, and lead the operationalization of recruiting strategy. This role will serve as an active partner to the functional leader and their leadership team to set the research and analysis strategy for a broad spectrum of recruiting issues, with the focus on how we efficiently meet the company’s hiring objectives through our recruiting teams and supporting functions. An example of this work would be to partner with our management team to understand the challenges they will face in meeting their recruiting goals, map out the analytics strategy to help them overcome their obstacles, and then bring that strategy to life through your team.This person will be part of the Global Recruiting organization. The ideal candidate will have quantitative skills and experience leading an analytics team. This role will be a leader and self-starter who proactively identifies problems, pulls together the data and people to identify causes & develop recommendations, and then implements the solution across an organization of hundreds by leaning on change management and influencing. The person in this role will partner with leadership and integrate analytical capabilities into day-to-day operations. This role sits squarely within a fast-paced, dynamic environment that continually presents opportunities to produce solutions for a wide variety of interesting and often complex challenges.
  • Lead a team of business analytics partners and ensure the team is productive, engaged, and thriving in their career.
  • Partner with the functional leadership team to identify and clarify their critical business issues.
  • Connect global data and strategies to functional business practices in order to build a function-specific analytics strategy.
  • Leverage quantitative analysis experience to connect and derive meaning from multiple and disparate data and then inform, influence, support, and execute our strategy decisions.
  • Identify the analytics opportunities to drive strategic decisions and process changes.
  • Deliver analytical results to technical and non-technical audiences and partner with them to identify the right actions.
  • Develop processes to support analytical planning and execution for a team of analytics business partners in an efficient and scalable manner (e.g. road mapping, automation, role setting).
  • Provide technical expertise to a team of analytics business partners to guide the design and structure of their work.
  • 5+ years of consulting or corporate work experience focused on using data to uncover insights that drive action and communicating analyses to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • 3+ years experience working internally within a medium to large organization.
  • Experience in at least one of these fields: management consulting, sales operations, finance, human resources.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis (e.g., descriptive statistics and knowledge of statistical significance).
  • Project management experience with multiple stakeholders prioritizing and delegating projects/tasks.
  • Experience partnering with leaders to execute analytics strategy.
  • Experience managing and analyzing data using tools such as Tableau and experience troubleshooting others' analyses and data.
  • Experience communicating research findings to audiences with varying levels of technical knowledge.
  • Coaching and people development skills.
  • BA/BS.
  • MBA.
  • Experience working with HR/organizational people data (e.g. headcount, turnover, recruiting metrics, and other people analytics).
  • Experience in HR analytics using HR systems and tools such as Workday, Visier, Salesforce etc.
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, demanding environment, under pressure.
  • Experience in SQL.
