Job Description

The Account Executive, Independent Accounts, West Region role will have responsibility for both men's and women's footwear. This role will be responsible for successfully building strong relationships to manage, achieve and exceed the assigned sales growth for the Cole Haan footwear category and the successful execution of these plans.

  • Direct responsibility for managing accounts like Men's Wearhouse, Jos A. Bank, Scheels, Shoebacca, and Independent accounts in the West Region
  • Execute quarterly sell-in meetings in line with Cole Haan Brand objectives
  • Develop short and long-term plans in conjunction with senior leadership that will execute against corporate sales and profit goals to ensure that strategic objectives are met
  • Develop recommended product assortments covering all categories and franchise businesses
  • Work closely with merchandising partners to ensure robust assortment by category
  • Forecast account needs and manage orders vs monthly financial goals
  • Master product and brand information, selling and marketing strategies to help educate and drive the business
  • Monitor weekly/monthly retail sales performance against goals per account; Develop sell through strategies to affect underperforming categories; Monitor stock levels and identify and communicate opportunities for reorders, new orders and special orders
  • Identify account opportunities to improve product assortment; Clearly identify and communicate competitive trends
  • Build strong relationships with Buyers and ensure strong collaboration and partnership
  • Special projects as assigned


  • Bachelors' degree in related area
  • 5+ years' experience in men's/women's footwear sales
  • Entrepreneurial drive and the ability to manage day-to-day details as well as to define the long-term vision and objectives
  • Understanding of all retail profitability components
  • Strong analytical ability, organizational, negotiation, communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to establish and build effective working relationships
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Flexible to travel as required

Colorado Salary Range: $111,700-$155,900

Key Accountabilities  * Create customer success plans to drive growth for each account  * Support solution design and technical implementation of current desired integrations as outlined in the customer success plan. * Monitor user adoption and product utilization and create targeted programs to increase engagement and support the agency's change management process. * Build strong relationships between the Miovision product and support teams to ensure continuous resolution of ongoing operational issues as well as product deficiencies that may come up.  * Participate in regular support and health checks to ensure accounts are continuing to derive value from our solutions * Support software renewal and upselling activities  Skills/Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree or recognized equivalency or achievement of recognized professional level * 5+ years of technical experience; must understand network products * Ability to travel internationally, providing on-site consulting work to clients * Ability to manage multiple projects utilizing strong planning and organizational skills * Experience with general consulting skills that include team facilitation, business case development, strong business analysis skills, process mapping and process redesign * Systems implementation skills: requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change management and support * Analytical nature with the ability to solve complex business issues * Basic understanding of product development and engineering processes.  We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
