This position serves as the Student Information Systems Compliance Specialist for the Student Administration Modules in Enrollment Services; the areas of Academic Advising, Admissions, Financial Aid, Student Records. This position is responsible for maintenance, documentation, auditing and troubleshooting of security in the various modules including OnBase. This is an internal customer-facing role, and requires excellent prioritization, responsiveness and customer service, along with excellent verbal communication skills. In keeping with the Enrollment Services values and competencies, the Security Compliance Specialist develops and maintains positive working relationships with all contacts internal and external to Enrollment Services
- Performs the duties of security support, maintenance, and security issue resolution for the PeopleSoft Student Administration Academic Advising, Admissions, Financial Aid, and Student Records Modules.
- Implements security for Student Administration System, On Base and CS-Link according to department policies and procedures to enable development and testing.
- Act as a point of contact for campus community, module leads, and the CMS Team in Enrollment Services.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated ability to analyze and evaluate complex situations and data, and take appropriate actions within established procedures, as well as make recommendations on improvement of administrative procedures, practices, and/or programs. Demonstrated ability to trouble-shoot and resolve system related problems. Knowledge of and ability to use: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, and information systems, preferably Oracle/PeopleSoft Campus Solutions. Ability to coordinate and maintain security requests for access for new and existing faculty and staff. Ability to create effective program documentation, communication, and training materials. Demonstrated ability to organize and plan multiple priorities and to carry out assignments with minimal supervision. Effective communication skills both verbal and written. Ability to establish and maintain successful working relationships within a diverse campus community.
Ability to communicate with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community. Ability to follow all university policies, procedures, and guidelines including but not limited to safety, civility, information security, and non-discrimination policies and procedures. Education and Experience
Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in applicable field and two years of direct work experience required.
ES Student Systems
The targeted salary may be set as high as $4,167 per month based on experience. The salary range for this classification is $3,288 to $6,347 per month.

Full-time temporary position for one year with no permanent status granted. Temporary assignments may expire prior to the ending date.
