CK Power is looking for a Territory Engine Sales Representative based out of Phoenix, AZ, and covering a territory including Arizona and New Mexico. The Territory Engine Sales Representative develops and implements sales strategy, manages customers within an assigned geographic territory to achieve annual sales targets, and drives incremental growth in sales revenue and market share year-over-year. You will provide extensive customer relationship management through regular communication, in-depth understanding of customer needs, and providing products and/or services to address customer requirements.

What You’ll Do:

  • Prospect, identify, evaluate, and recommend new customer targets through analysis of new and existing markets and new customer contacts.
  • Execute sales & marketing initiatives to generate incremental sales.
  • Establish and maintain effective customer relationships by understanding each customer’s unique needs and tailoring sales approach appropriately.
  • Qualify potential customer applications, create product quotes, and deliver value-based sales presentations to satisfy customer needs and maximize profitability.
  • Prepare and submit satisfactory sales order documentation and supporting information as needed.
  • Serve as a single point of contact for CK Power customers, coordinating with internal personnel and managing communication between various contact points within customer organizations.
  • Coordinate after-sale support activities with internal departments as needed to ensure long-term, profitable customer relationships.

What You’ll Need:

  • 3-5 years of industrial diesel sales experience.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 50% or more of the time.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with direct product sales to end-use customers.
  • Demonstrated successful negotiating and selling skills.
  • Be a self-starter with the ability to take initiative and be committed to continuous improvement of self and territory.
  • Ability to motivate customers to action and personal drive to aggressively pursue sales and market share growth in assigned territory.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects, accounts, etc. simultaneously.
  • Strong ethical conduct
  • Strong verbal and written communication proficiency.
  • Strong computer skills and understanding of Manufacturing Operating Systems/Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

What Helps:

  • General product knowledge of industrial engines and their application.
  • Prior experience with sales/distribution of industrial diesel and/or spark-ignited engines and associated products.
