Job Summary:
We seek an ambitious Regional Sales Manager to: spearhead our sales efforts for marking & coding PVC Compounds for Wire & Cable Manufacturers, Stranded Copper Wire for Cable Manufacturers and Automotive Industries, Power Supply Cords for Appliances, Electric Products, & Automotive Manufacturers, Molded Cable Assemblies for Appliances & Electric Goods Manufacturers. This role is pivotal in driving growth, penetrating new markets, and expanding our market share within the assigned territory
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies for the region to achieve company objectives.
- Forecast sales performance and set individual and team goals in alignment with the company's growth strategy.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Develop and grow Channel Partnerships, including Manufacturing Reps, Resellers, OEM/Integrators, and Distributors. This role requires nurturing existing partnerships and exploring new alliances to expand our market presence
- Handle customer complaints and issues to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Engage in negotiations with key customers and clients to close sales agreements.
Sales Execution:
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure the successful launch of new products and services.
- Identify new business opportunities and oversee the expansion of the company’s footprint within the region.
- Monitor and analyze regional sales data to make informed decisions.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare regular sales reports detailing the region's performance, achievements, and areas for improvement.
- Analyze sales trends, customer needs, and competitor performance to refine sales strategies.
- Manage regional sales budgets, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
Key Requirements:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred but will substitute with appropriate experience.
Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in outside sales
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency with CRM software, sales management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of the region’s market, customers, and competitive landscape.
Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to travel frequently within the region.
- Valid driver’s license
