Sales Development Representative

Vari® is looking for an energetic and solution-oriented Sales Development Representative (SDR) to add to its Inside Sales Team. This position is a full-time, client-focused role with emphasis on supporting key markets through scheduling customer-facing meetings.
A Sales Development Representative has two primary role functions supporting the Vari Sales Organization.
The primary function of the role is centered around securing customer meetings. The Sales Development Representative will get exposure targeting leads and key prospects to set appointments for a Territory Sales Representative and/or a Sales Executive.
The second function of the role is centered around inbound calls. In this function, the Sales Development Representative is responsible for receiving inbound contacts from new and existing fans who are looking to connect with a sales representative to discuss Vari solutions.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Hunt within non-spend accounts in assigned territories to position Vari’s project value proposition and schedule meetings for sales team members
Rapid response to assigned inbound lead types
Become an expert in Vari’s products, buyer types, and the tools necessary to be successful: Salesforce CRM, New Voice Media, Microsoft Outlook, etc.
Identify, qualify, and schedule meetings from both inbound and outbound call activities
Engage with customers via telephone, email, and chat to analyze their needs.
Effectively learn engagement protocols across the sales floor and with sales support teams.
Build relationships within the organization.
Consistently meet monthly KPI goals.
Begin to expand your knowledge of Vari’s broader Sales methodology and sales cycle.
HOW YOU’LL GET THERE
1-2 years of inbound, outbound, retail or call center sales experience to include: utilizing a defined sales process to prospect and qualify customers, assess their needs, and position a solution for them.
Skilled in active listening, verbal communications and relationship building
Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM and other relevant business software tools
Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
