About the role

We are looking for an IT Business Analyst to work in our Identity and Access Management team. Your role will be to analyze business processes, design and modify procedures to improve efficiency and achieve desired results. Analyze business and user requirements, and document business needs as a basis for system specifications.

As a member of the Identity and Access Management team, and in collaboration with many internal partners, you will work proactively to reduce IAM risks within Intact.

Your role:

  • Analyze processes and fully understand the interactions between the various systems and the Identity and Access Management (IAM) ecosystem.
  • Support the team and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Help the team in estimating and planning the efforts required to complete a project.
  • Interface between IT and users at various levels of management across the company.
  • Be able to automate report generation.
  • Develop, implement, support and document automation to increase IAM efficiency.
  • Support the team in carrying out their various projects and resolving complex problems.
  • Actively participate in innovative projects and initiatives that support Intact's mission.


  • Bachelor’s degree or college diploma with appropriate years of experience.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience as an IT Business Analyst in an innovative environment within a large organization.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced IT environment and with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Analytical mind and attention to detail.
  • Ability to set and manage priorities and to adjust to changes.
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerBI.
  • Good written and spoken communication skills (French and English).
  • Knowledge of identity governance solutions (an asset).
  • Experience and knowledge in the insurance field (an asset).
