Energy Network Services (ENS) is a national, well-known and respected Application Engineering Management Company. We lead in the provision of innovative and cost-effective lighting and lighting controls services for improving energy performance for commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities in the private and public sectors. Our expertise extends to all stages of an energy management project, planning, implementation, financing, and monitoring. ENS also provides solutions beyond building lighting and controls. These include, Smart City Solutions and EV Charger Deployments.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assume full sales management responsibility for assigned territory and accounts
- Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure it’s strong presence
- Manage relationships with existing customers, playing an essential role in developing and maintaining the Company's image and reputation in the marketplace
- Cultivate and develop new relationships and partnerships with professional organizations to ensure program awareness and adoption.
- Identify new sales opportunities to achieve sales expansion through a variety of prospecting activities including networking, prospecting, conducting on-site sales calls, and cold calling
- Track, analyze, and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends as they relate to partner relationships
- Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop a plan to fulfill them
- Identify opportunities for improvement and strategies to execute solutions within the existing business model and channels; and perform other duties, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Business or similar field (or additional experience in lieu of degree)
- Proficient with MS Office Suite
- Knowledge of lighting is required
- Experience selling and managing accounts in any of the following: Lighting, Electrical Vehicle Chargers, Smart City Solutions
- Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
- Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Strong business sense and industry expertise
- Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Valid drivers license
