Currently we are looking for a content copywriter to work with our marketing team to develop, write, and publish content for Janek’s blog, newsletter, web site, landing pages, case studies, white papers, and similar content that is published frequently. This is a full-time position that reports directly to the Digital Marketing Manager. The ideal candidate is based here in Las Vegas and able to work out of our office.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • The ideal candidate should have a clear, compelling, and persuasive business writing style to inform our readers and customers on topics related to Sales Training, Sales Coaching, Sales Consulting, and similar B2B Sales interests.
  • Write copy for:
  • Website
  • Landing pages
  • Weekly blog
  • Monthly newsletter
  • White papers
  • Case studies and customer success stories
  • Corporate collateral
  • Marketing email campaigns
  • Proofreading all work for spelling and grammatical errors
  • Attending creative meetings to discuss current and upcoming copywriting projects
  • Interviewing Janek sales staff and existing customers for case studies and success stories
  • Doing research on current sales training trends and staying abreast of current business and economical news that drives buying behavior

Required Experience / Qualifications

  • Ability to comprehend the full suite of Janek’s offerings and clearly communicate the value proposition and business case to both prospects & existing customers.
  • 2+ years related business writing experience and/or writing about Learning & Development topics
  • Experience with WordPress-hosted web sites and basic HTML
  • Experience with Hubspot or similar marketing automation solution
  • Knowledge of SEO/SEM best practices
  • Being able to write copy that will consistently pass spam filters resulting in high email open rates
  • Must interact effectively with all levels of management and staff
  • Must have strong time management skills especially in allocating and prioritizing time in relation to writing activities
  • Well versed in Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Experience with Google Hangouts or Skype
  • Knowledge of sales training and/or certifications in competitive sales training methodologies is preferred
