Job Summary
We are are a masonry and fenestration (window and door) supply company seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities in the Greater Madison, Wisconsin area and throughout the state. This role requires a proactive approach to sales, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to effectively communicate our product offerings to clients.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business development opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs and identify potential leads.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process.
- Deliver engaging product demonstrations to prospective clients, showcasing the benefits and features of our offerings.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to secure profitable agreements.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and account management in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with inside sales teams to align strategies and maximize overall sales effectiveness.
- Attend industry events and networking functions to promote our brand and generate leads.
Skills
- Proven experience in business development and territory sales, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Strong understanding of territory management principles and market dynamics.
- Excellent lead generation skills with a track record of successfully converting leads into customers.
- Ability to effectively negotiate terms and conditions while maintaining positive client relationships.
- Proficient in account management, ensuring ongoing client satisfaction and retention.
- Experience with product demos that effectively communicate value propositions to potential customers.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills that foster collaboration and trust.
