About the Role:
We are seeking a self-motivated and highly independent Business Development Manager to join our team at FACS. In this solution sales opportunity, you will be responsible for spearheading business development initiatives with minimal direction, leveraging your expertise and entrepreneurial spirit. As a key driver of growth and expansion, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth within the industrial hygiene sector. With a solid understanding of industrial hygiene practices, regulations, and market trends, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing comprehensive business development strategies. Your ability to build and nurture strong client relationships, coupled with your track record of meeting and exceeding targets, will be instrumental in positioning our organization as a leader in the industry.
This position will be focused on our Southern California region and has the flexibility to work from home. This position is eligible for uncapped quarterly and annual bonuses.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect, develop, and maintain new clients in the Southern California region
- Develop and grow key relationships with existing clients
- Initiate and execute sales strategy plans
- Forecast expected revenue and document activities in Salesforce
- Create and present presentations to potential and existing clients
- Travel locally to association events with some out-of-town travel
- Interact and develop relationships with internal marketing and operational teams
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Business Development
- Bachelor's degree with 2 - 4 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience in meeting and succeeding quotas in a collaborative sales environment
- Tenacious at initiating contact and determining the best people to talk with at a prospect. Proven ability to build relationships at multiple layers in an organization while creating and closing multiple opportunities
- Strong communications skills, written, verbal with the ability to create influence through passive listening
- Strategic thinker with the ability to collaborate with prospects and clients to devise and close win-win solutions
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint, with the ability to learn new programs easily
- Equally adept at meeting with clients in person or by phone. Previous experience in using an online meeting tool for presentations and proposals
- Salesforce experience
- Experience selling solution-type services to organizations in the industry segments listed above a plus
- Bilingual in any other language is a plus!
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, push, pull, drag, grab objects, and lift up to 50 lbs.
