Position Overview

This is a remote, work from home position. This position is responsible for the sales of the organization's LTO (lease-to-own) product nationally and provides ongoing support to retailers. The individual will work to achieve and surpass sales goals by maintaining and expanding existing and new business opportunities with ecommerce and omnichannel retailers.

Primary Job Duties Include (but are not limited to)

  • Develops and increases sales revenue to meet assigned targets
  • Keeps retailers informed of product changes, services and other general information of interest to customers
  • Checks on competitive activity and develops new methods of attaining retailers and assisting retailers in attaining new accounts
  • Troubleshoots problems regarding products provided
  • Target and develop ecommerce and omnichannel sales opportunities to present Katapult’s leasing platform and win new business
  • Drive a high level of targeted outbound prospecting to ecommerce and Omnichannel retailers while maintaining a strong sales pipeline
  • Maintain a current knowledge of industry trends, opportunities, channels, products, and competitors to support the identification of business development opportunities
  • Represent Katapult at networking events, conferences and in-person meetings with prospects
  • Maintain relationships with strategic retail partners to drive existing and new business
  • Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Fintech industry experience preferred
  • CRM experience (Hubspot is a plus)
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Google Drive (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
  • 5+ years in sales, particularly selling to merchants/ecommerce retailers
  • Strong sense of urgency for goal and professional achievement
  • Ability to work without close supervision
  • Enjoys research and detail oriented
  • General administrative duties and responsibilities
  • Ability to document processes
  • Strong communication skills
  • Results oriented and great at multitasking
  • Desire and potential for career in Sales
