Description of Job



Our Management Analyst will focus on Organizational Change and will assist the Change Manager to implement the change management strategy and transform their internal systems and processes from the existing stage to the stage where they want it to be in the future. This position regularly works inside and outside of the organization with the purpose of introducing and educating others about Change Management practices, strategies and theories. The position routinely assigns tasks throughout the organization in relation to change management, initiative management, process improvement and OIT's strategic planning.

You will be responsible for assisting strategies and projects as assigned to increase positive relationships with customers creating a partnership with OIT for their business technology needs. The position is part of a team transforming the perception of OIT by implementing an IT Transformation program and forging new relationships with stakeholders, and helping to drive cross-agency change efforts and business transformations into Colorado State Government for sustainable long-term customer success. Core functions of this position include:


Relationship Management
— Demonstrate relationship management strategies in the
organization, on projects and initiatives, and team with and train others to improve
quality and continuity in customer delight, customer success, and perception of OIT as
a valued partner.

Extend Customer Reach
— Increase understanding of all OIT customer touch points
including non-centralized agencies, counties, and stakeholder groups and forge new
relationships and conduct projects and training to support customer IT initiatives.

Customer-Focused Culture Change
— Apply, train, and consult with others to create
an Organizational Change Management (OCM) culture focused on understanding
customer impacts, meeting customer needs, increasing user adoption via OCM
planning, communications, and training, thereby improving customer satisfaction and
ROI.

Project Delivery and Transformation Efforts
— Drive cross-functional projects and
change efforts where roles and responsibilities need to be implemented across OIT,
into agencies, and at times with Vendors such a Agile/Scrum implementation, and
provide and support reporting as needed. Also responsible for creating and managing
change management deliverables including stakeholder analysis, impact analysis,
communication plan and occasional job aids and training plans.

Minimum Qualifications, Substitutions, Conditions of Employment & Appeal Rights


While a wide salary range is posted for this position, an eventual salary offer is determined by a comprehensive salary analysis, which considers multiple factors including but not limited to education and experience compared to others in the organization doing substantially similar work.

This position is intended to work primarily remote with periodic and required reporting to our Denver Office. All remote work must be performed in Colorado.

Minimum Qualifications
:
A minimum of three (3) years of experience dedicated to effectively providing change management (ADKAR or equivalent framework) for one or more projects in the context of large, strategic, and complex transformation initiatives.

Previous experience designing and implementing an organizational change management program.

Previous experience with the development and management of organizational change management communication plans.

Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent.

Additional appropriate education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis, but cannot completely substitute for these qualifications.

Additional, appropriate paid or unpaid experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

Training or Certification related to the work assigned to the position will be assigned credit towards substitution for experience and/or education, but cannot completely substitute for these qualifications.

Preferred Qualifications:
Professional certification in Organizational Change Management (Prosci) and Project Management.

Conditions of Employment:

A pre-employment background check will be conducted as part of the selection process.

This position may require travel to locations in the metro area periodically, and locations across the state occasionally.
