Sales Performance:
- The company boasts a high-performing sales team, with individuals closing deals ranging from $2 million to $10 million annually.
- The average deal size is approximately $30,000, though larger contracts well into six figures are common.
Compensation:
- Base salary: $65,000 - $95,000
- On-target earnings (OTE): $150,000+
- Compensation is highly negotiable, particularly for candidates with an existing book of business.
- A company car is provided.
Role Overview:
The Territory Manager will primarily focus on new business development, though they will also manage some existing accounts. This individual will engage directly with potential clients, often using a direct and candid approach. For example: "I noticed you have a pothole in your parking lot. Would you like us to fix it?" This strategy aims to secure foot-in-the-door opportunities, paving the way for larger contracts.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 5+ years of industry experience in commercial paving.
- Demonstrates the ability to independently generate leads and build a pipeline of new opportunities.
- Serves as a key liaison between the superintendent and the client, ensuring successful project execution.
- Experience with municipal projects, such as schools, is a plus.
- Candidates focusing on highways will not be a good fit for this role.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $125,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
