Opened in March 2020, The Inn at Meadowbrook is an independent 54 Room Boutique Hotel and Luxury Inn, nestled on the edge of an eighty-acre park and surrounded by mature trees, winding paths and tranquil lakes. Service is our specialty! 5.0 rating on Google reviews and Tripadvisor.

Title: Director of Sales and Marketing

Reports to: General Manager

The Director of Sales and Marketing will manage all aspects of sales and marketing designed to achieve hotel booking objectives and revenue goals. This individual will also be responsible for booking and organizing events for our boardroom and outdoor event areas. The Director of Sales and Marketing will be primarily responsible for revenue management and prospecting to achieve the best mix of business and leisure travel.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Embody and direct ownership’s vision and business model through day-to-day interactions with guests and other employees
  • Achieve 99% guest satisfaction
  • Create memorable experiences
  • Providing website maintenance/content management/updates on multiple platforms, including social media, on a daily basis
  • Prospecting, solicitation and direct selling
  • Create and execute detailed budgets including revenue and expenses, and achieve budgeted goals
  • Perform daily, weekly, monthly and yearly sales forecasts, as required
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of prospecting, operating results and statistical information as related to sales, revenue and other indicators
  • Service and communicate with clients from beginning to end including initiating, negotiating and finalizing contracts, support services inhouse and through outside contractors, multiple progress checks for satisfaction, and post event accounting
  • Create and or revise contracts, operating forms, training manuals and SOPs
  • Coordinate property photography and video shoots
  • Coordinate branding of all property collateral
  • Assist with operational management oversight
  • Complete any and all other duties as assigned by General Manager


  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Possess and project excellent inter-personal skills
  • Proficient in strategic and tactical thinking; have strong analytical, leadership, planning and budgeting skills
  • Ability to create and execute a sales and marketing plan
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with computer, digital and emerging technologies
  • Capable in Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress administrative, Microsoft Office
  • Ability to direct and analyze traditional and social media market trends

Physical Requirements:

  • Walking, bending, standing, twisting, reaching: Continuously. When inspecting property, upon carpeted and tiled surfaces, indoor and outdoor, in all weather conditions, when picking up and putting various items down, passing items to others and when working with multiple guests.
  • Handling/Grasping: Continuously. Operating doors, telephones, computers, mice and keyboards, writing utensils, payment methods, keys and paperwork.
  • Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling: Frequently – 5 lbs., Occasionally – 20 lbs., Infrequently – 50 lbs. maximum weight.

  • $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 /year, achieved through base salary and bonus plan, commensurate with experience


  • Sales & Marketing: 4 years (Required)
  • 4 or 5 Diamond/Star Hotel or Resort: 3 years (Required)
  • Boutique Hotel or Resort: 2 years (Preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
