Innovative is seeking a professional, highly motivated Sales Manager to lead our sales team and to represent our company and product line throughout Ontario, Quebec and Eastern Canada. Using creativity, initiative and tenacity to direct and coach our Territory Managers, analyze trends and establish objectives and sales programs for the company. You are committed to the highest level of customer service, while achieving the operational and financial results required by the company. The company’s supply and service is built around having the largest liquid distribution network in the US northeast and eastern Canada.


  • Provide leadership and direction to the Territory Managers- identifying gaps and coaching on closing strategies
  • Develop Territory Managers with KPI's linked to Smart goals
  • Support President on strategic plan development and implementation
  • Manage house accounts directly and deliver on commitments
  • Manage open territories including prospecting for new customers
  • Partner on large bids to achieve successful outcomes
  • Collaborate with marketing on go-to-market initiatives
  • Responsible for the achievement of objectives such as sales volumes, margin goals and new client acquisition programs
  • Monitor competitor’s activity and practices for impact on sales goals and develops or adjusts programs and strategy if required
  • Able to develop and maintain strong product and technical knowledge
  • Travel is required -50%

Education & Experience:

  • Post secondary education in related field
  • 5 years progressive outside sales management experience
  • Advanced computer skill including excel
  • Experience leading a team and coaching and training new employees
  • Related industry experience would be an asset
  • CRM experience would be an asset
  • Proven track record of building business and hitting sales targets
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
