Qontigo is currently seeking a qualified Institutional Sales and Account Manager to join our growing team, bringing Qontigo’s award winning index solutions and services to new and existing Asset Manager clients. The position will be based in NY and will require travel to client and prospect territories. Candidates must have a proven track record in sales, exemplifying success building and maintaining business relationships as well as achieving aggressive sales targets.
Responsibilities:
  • Drive ambitious sales growth and meet or exceed annual targets
  • Target and acquire new accounts through prospecting and networking
  • Identify new sales opportunities and initiate and manage sales dialog with these contacts
  • Communicate Qontigo’s value proposition to clients
  • Solve customers’ challenges by applying a combination of technology, business, interpersonal and professional experience
  • Negotiate and close sales contracts
  • Gather product feedback from customers and relay those needs to Product Management
  • Record and track sales activities using Qontigo’s CRM software
  • Regularly report to management on performance vs. sales objectives
Qualifications:
  • A proven track record selling with a deep understanding of the investment process (5 years minimum)
  • Experience with structured products
  • Must be comfortable applying quantitative methods for analysis and decision-making purposes
  • Possess excellent written and oral communication skills, strong active listening skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for helping the client/prospect solve their business problems
  • Understand the need to secure revenues for the Company in the short term, but also demonstrate customer-facing skills necessary to build long-term business relationships with clients
  • Demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit
  • MBA or other advanced degree in mathematics or finance or commensurate certification
    CFA, FRM, CAIA
  • Travel: 25%-40%
