A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
As Business Development Manager, you will source and On-board new property management accounts. Essentially, the face of the company, you will aspire to close an average of 30 new property management units per month. Using your creative and fearless sales techniques to grow lead generations. You will work with investors to source and purchase properties to convert to operating rental units. You will establish, and actively manage, a pipeline of potential clients through a wide variety of marketing activities including: networking, trade organizations, SEO, PPC campaign, social media, mailers, email campaign, blogging, etc. Using your excellent customer service skills to identify and communicate the goals of each new client to the property management team for clean hand-offs and happy owners is always your highest priority.
You will deliver clear communication all on the company requirements, expectations and processes to new accounts prior to onboarding of units. You will lay the groundwork for a successful management relationship, including what we expect from our owners, and what those owners can expect from us. You enjoy building good relationships and take pride in helping provide well-managed investment properties for our investors while maximizing profits for our company.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
- College degree required
- Real Estate License
- Three plus years of sales experience selling a service or product
- Outside sales experience
- Strong writing and presentation skills
- Valid drivers license
- Interest and understanding investment real estate, including how to analyze and operate investment properties
- Motivated to make money, assertive, self-starter.
- Ability to work independently, in-office and remotely.
