Customer Service/Sales/Administrative Assistant

This associate has a good understanding of JPON’s products, systems and workflow. Excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills are a must. Client and Vendor paperwork are maintained to high standards and accounts payable and receivable are closely managed. This position will work to insure our inside sales and customer interactions are to the high standards we maintain at JPON Glass. This position reports to the General Manager.

Customer Service

  • Answers the phone, assisting customers and directing calls.
  • Assist with customers in the showroom.
  • Provide exemplary service in customer interactions.
  • Partner with JPON team members, ensuring we are doing everything possible to provide excellent service, establishing ourselves as a customer-centric operation.
  • Contacts customer post service call to ensure customer expectations were fulfilled. Generates reporting to track and grow our sales and service.
  • Supports field technicians by contacting customers about their service, makes changes as appropriate and insurses timeliness of technicians arrival.

Accounting

  • Process payments from customers, either by cash or credit card.
  • Have complete knowledge of software, assisting others as needed.
  • Review and manage accounts receivable ensuring past due accounts are contacted for payment.

Sales

  • Assist with scheduling of residential and commercial service jobs
  • Actively seeks opportunities to enhance the customer experience and increase sales
  • Partners with the leadership team to create new sales opportunities and marketing initiatives

Office

  • Actively seek opportunities to improve business processes.
  • Lead the effort to develop, maintain and manage the Quality Control program.
  • Maintain company records, filing, cash box, etc.
  • Daily deposit preparation and credit card closeout
  • Maintain and order office supplies as needed.
  • Audit orders and materials handling monthly
  • Performs other duties as assigned..

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $20.00 per hour
