Job Summary
What: We are seeking an experienced and ambitious leader to oversee all revenue generation at Edison House, including membership sales, private events sales, food & beverage outlet sales, and all customer-acquisition marketing.
Why: Until now, sales across our company have been concentrated within their respective departments (memberships within Membership, Private Events within operations, etc.). We are establishing this new role to oversee all revenue as a way of streamlining our sales and marketing functions and facilitating strong top-line growth for the business.
How: With strong leadership, strategic planning, and a strong acumen for best practices in sales and marketing, the Director of Revenue will manage a small team at Edison House to drive revenue across three primary revenue streams through member acquisition, private event sales, and food and beverage sales.
Responsibilities
Revenue Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute a cohesive revenue strategy to grow Edison House’s top line.
- Oversee sales targets and forecasts for memberships, private events, and F&B.
- Coordinate cross-departmental initiatives to maximize revenue opportunities, ensuring all teams are aligned.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) across revenue streams and adjust strategies as needed to meet targets.
Team Leadership & Management
- Manage and mentor a small team of sales & marketing professionals
- Foster a high-performance sales culture through coaching, development, and motivation.
- Establish clear roles, goals, and accountability metrics for team members.
Customer Acquisition
- Drive customer acquisition through targeted marketing initiatives, strategic partnerships, and lead-generation activities.
- Work with marketing to create and implement campaigns focused on member acquisition and event bookings.
- Develop strategies to deepen existing relationships and generate additional revenue from current customers.
Sales Process Optimization
- Streamline and optimize the sales process across different departments, focusing on efficiency, conversion rates, and customer experience.
- Implement best-in-class tools to optimize all sales and marketing functions.
- Ensure consistent brand management and messaging for all public-facing touchpoints.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with other departments (Operations, Member Experience, Finance, Innovation, etc.) to ensure synergy between revenue-driving initiatives and day-to-day operations.
- Work with the CFO and finance team to provide accurate forecasting and reporting.

Experience
- Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in sales a senior sales or revenue management role, with proven success at driving top line growth.
- Minimum 3 years in a management or leadership position, ideally leading a sales and marketing team.
- Direct experience in marketing strongly preferred.
- Experience in hospitality or membership businesses preferred but not necessary
- Tech savvy, with proficiency in sales funnel optimization, CRM management, and other best-in-class sales tools
