NextGen Laboratories - Medical Sales Representative
We are an established and growing molecular testing laboratory that is expanding nationally. We are focused on diagnostic testing including RP with COVID-19, chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, toxicology and GI. Our target market is LTC, SNF, and all other arenas that service geriatric patients. We are constantly evaluating new testing methods and menu offerings that will keep us competitive.

About this Job:
We are actively looking for a motivated Sales Representative in the toxicology field who can deliver a current book of business. If you possess an entrepreneurial spirit and enjoy the challenge of working independently as a “hunter,” then this is the perfect opportunity for you. While prior experience in the toxicology and/or long-term care is preferred, we will consider an individual who has current relationships with clinicians in pain management, treatment facilities, behavioral health, mental health and primary care. This “hands-on” position will focus on prospecting and developing new accounts.
You will spend majority of your time outside in the field, calling on 15 - 20 prospective clients per day. You will build and maintain strong relationships with your customers. In doing so, you will analyze the needs of your clients and deliver high quality, cost effective laboratory services. You will maintain a high level of integrity in accordance with company culture. You will receive mentorship and training from the very best Sales Leadership. Moreover, we have a commitment to ongoing training.
Target markets: Addiction Treatment Facilities, Pain Management, Behavioral Health/Mental Health Physicians and Clinics.
Prospects and networks with new clients through a variety of methods, including cold calling
Delivers technical seminars, educational lunches, customer product presentation
Strictly adheres to all HIPAA compliance
Able to work independently, while communicating with sales leadership as required
Cultivate and maintain long lasting relationships with current accounts
Guide and control all aspects of the sales process from prospecting to long term customer relationship
Minimum Required Education and Experience:
High School degree or GED equivalent required
College degree strongly preferred in sales or business related
2+ years of sales experience
Huge plus for experience in laboratory testing sales
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
75% Field Sales and must have ability to travel overnight
