The Director of Program Management and Procurement is responsible for providing strategic guidance for project implementation, monitoring projects and procurement progress and partner activities. The director is expected to have a strong understanding of project goals and customer expectations. S/he will promote collaboration between stakeholders to ensure cohesive, unified and effective project implementation. S/he will also oversee the procurement department to ensure on time purchasing and delivery

  • Partners with all site departments to ensure that projects are introduced on time and that quality is maintained
  • Guides staff about the importance of right-first-time concept teams to maximize efficiency and productivity
  • Directs prioritization criteria and tools for project team members to ensure that effort is efficiently allocated to the most important and time-sensitive tasks
  • Directs key business metrics and service level agreements with partners
  • Directs content development and leads discussions during quarterly business review (QBR) meetings
  • Directs team through implementation of new projects from conception through completion as required by business agreement
  • Participates and/or leads (where required) weekly conference calls with partners and maintain action items lists
  • Prepares and may approve various project budgets, including; documents scopes of work and procures services or equipment, management of budget changes, tracking of budget expenditures and deviations from budget, deliver projects on or under budget to ensure profitability for the company
  • Reviews and approves billing invoice submittals, coordinating with finance to resolve any discrepancies
  • Drives and documents cost reduction programs and negotiations
  • Specifies and coordinates receipt of reports required to support client’s business
  • Responds in a timely manner via phone or e-mail to internal/external partner requests and issues
  • Contributes to continuous business process review and improvements
  • Interfaces and follows up with partners on orders and shipments and manages company purchase orders

Education, Training and Skills*

  • Demonstrated success in a Director level position within project or program management of multiple, complex projects in the manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in the electronics manufacturing environment is preferred but not a must
  • Demonstrated skill and track record in managing and building a cross-functional team and people
  • Excellent influencing skills to lead individuals for whom s/he has no direct reporting relationship
  • Planning and organizing skills to enable the generation of a realistic introduction project plan
  • Good judgement and analytical skills required to drive decisions by metrics and data to make difficult decisions where technical problems and competition of resources can affect the project schedule and specifications
  • Must possess structured, cross-functional communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with project team, customers and management
  • Advanced experience and skills in business development and proven customer success orientation
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Able to build and adapt processes to changing requirements
  • Has experience working in a fast paced and strong growing start up environment, and thrives under pressure
  • Comes from High-transaction, high complexity environment
  • Growth oriented, able to scale performance 2x/3x per year
  • Must possess strong leadership skills with a problem-solving mentality
  • Technology driven environment, able to create systems

Key Accountabilities  * Create customer success plans to drive growth for each account  * Support solution design and technical implementation of current desired integrations as outlined in the customer success plan. * Monitor user adoption and product utilization and create targeted programs to increase engagement and support the agency's change management process. * Build strong relationships between the Miovision product and support teams to ensure continuous resolution of ongoing operational issues as well as product deficiencies that may come up.  * Participate in regular support and health checks to ensure accounts are continuing to derive value from our solutions * Support software renewal and upselling activities  Skills/Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree or recognized equivalency or achievement of recognized professional level * 5+ years of technical experience; must understand network products * Ability to travel internationally, providing on-site consulting work to clients * Ability to manage multiple projects utilizing strong planning and organizational skills * Experience with general consulting skills that include team facilitation, business case development, strong business analysis skills, process mapping and process redesign * Systems implementation skills: requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change management and support * Analytical nature with the ability to solve complex business issues * Basic understanding of product development and engineering processes.  We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
