You are passionate about event management and enjoy planning, coordinating and organizing events. You will act as an advisor to direct our clients to our various offers and products.

Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, this position is for you if :

Job description
  • You have a creative mind to bring ideas to the hotel's marketing content (social media posts, content creation, etc.)
  • You like teamwork, you will have to collaborate with different departments to make events successful because it is in team that we succeed!
  • You have a strong aptitude for customer service, you are willing to meet and exceed our clients' expectations.
  • You have a keen sense of sales, you will be responsible for answering incoming calls and event requests from our regular clientele.
  • You are detail oriented and meticulous, you will be responsible for writing contracts, banquet order forms, conference summaries, etc.
  • You will also support the sales team in various tasks and participate in the success of the hotel.

Training:

  • D.E.C. (Diploma of Collegial Studies in Tourism or Hospitality)- Asset

Knowledge, skills and abilities required:

  • You are motivated and have a taste for challenges.
  • You know how to manage your priorities and you are organized.
  • You have the ability to work under pressure and to manage an event.
  • You are familiar with the Office suite, Outlook, Opera or another PMS and are able to manage social networks.
  • Excellent command of the French and English languages
  • Have a good knowledge of hotel services
  • You have good sales and marketing skills.
  • You know how to deal with unexpected events and find solutions to satisfy the customer.
