Consulting Manager

Reporting to the Manager, AMER Consulting, you are involved in the full range of consulting projects to guide our clients on how to more strategically optimize travel spend, providing impactful recommendations and working with internal and external partners to implement our recommendation.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and implement strategic recommendations that are compelling, informative and impactful to achieve client objectives and successfully address their agendas

  • Identify data requirements, and supervise the process of collecting and processing that data

  • Collaborate with our consulting analysts to deliver analyses using the appropriate tools

  • Translate relevant information and insights into impactful, well-articulated action plans and strategies

  • Negotiate with suppliers on sourcing strategies

  • Build adequate support documents for client communication (PowerPoint slides, memorandums and formal written reports)

  • Lead the presentations and discussions directly with clients

  • Develop, implement and lead all aspects of action plans

  • Proactively propose any client improvement that would bring added value

  • Propose any identify innovation benefiting our department or organization

  • Be responsible for your clients’ relationship

  • Collaborate with clients’ global Account Manager

  • Handle your client portfolio, renew and upsell

  • Support our consulting sales activities, as assigned by management

Who you are:

  • Relevant degree or equivalent with a confirmed experience of client management in leisure or business travel industries and/or travel consulting experience

  • Being rigorous and data driven, you bring detailed analysis and advices to our main clients, taking ownership of the whole mission life cycle, from the data gathering to the action plans

  • Strong expertise in leading projects for clients

  • Responsible for the delivery of individual workstreams within projects, you are fully involved in bringing added value and supporting the development of the business and your colleagues

  • A self-motivated with strategic mentality and a validated ability to challenge the status quo and proactively put forth solutions/ideas

  • Attention to details, analytical skills and ability to deliver clear, concise and structured supports

  • Ability to synthesize complex information, to use data to develop and drive strategies

  • Ability to engage and interact across all levels within the organization, influence business partners, using strong active listening strength and strategies to advise and influence partners

  • Effective communicator, with both written and oral presentations

  • Confirmed problem-solving skills and a customer-centric attitude

  • Ability to work well both within a team and as an independent contributor, and a strong passion for working in cross-cultural teams

  • Well-developed intuition for business

  • Proficient in all Microsoft suite and specifically in Excel and PowerPoint

  • Fluent in English
