Job Summary:

The Senior Director of Sales and Marketing is responsible for the direction and management of Vannelli Brands, LLC. marketing, sales, and business development operations, including market competitiveness and partnerships. Will lead and drive achievement of its customer acquisition and revenue goals. Actively leads the business development function in an effective, proactive and efficient manner.


· Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies and initiatives

· Develop and manage strategic partnerships and relationships

· Win early customers with corporate resources and support

· Take primary responsibility and ownership for expanding sales, distribution points and customer base

· Oversee customer support and cultivates relationships

· Participate in meetings and conferences, prepare special quotes and respond to customers for improving sales

· Leads the sales organization by giving presentations, following up on sales leads and creating special accounts

· Develop professional close relations and maintain regular communication with reps, customers and internal staff

· Represent company at trade shows, associations and meetings to promote products and programs

· Identify customer needs, develop collateral and determine product pricing and discount rates

· Responsible for proper food handling and food safety

· Analyze industry consumption data to make decisions, recommendations to senior leadership team along with distributor data.

· Manage distributors tabletop shows, deductions, distribution management and effectively leverage their sales network on behalf of company.

*Travel will be required

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, MBA preferred
  • Experience in a senior management position
  • Proven negotiation skills
  • Manufacturing experience a plus
  • Consumer Packaged Goods and Food manufacturing experience a plus
  • Experience with premium fresh, refrigerated products
  • Experience with retailers and distributors a plus

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
