ProGuard Security Services has experienced significant growth and has an immediate opening available for an Account Manager position in Oakland CA . This individual will be responsible for the service delivery to the client and will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of the account, including, but not limited to, hiring, training, scheduling, payroll, billing, evaluating, counseling, etc. We offer a world-class benefits package to each of our management staff.

The ideal candidate will possess the following traits:
- Must have a minimum of 2 years in contract security management experience
- Strong leadership skills
- Previous experience MUST include client management
- Previous experience MUST include the physical security industry
- Previous experience in a union environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office applications
- 2-Way Radio / 10 Code
- Knowledge of standard labor laws and regulations
- Be available on a 24/7 basis based on the needs of the company
- High School Diploma or GED required,
- College degree and/or ASIS certification (CPP, PSP) is strongly preferred
- Must be able to pass a background check
Job description:
- The Account Manager manages the day to day activity of the assigned site while providing excellent management of staff and customer service to the client. This position is an onsite working position that requires great flexibility in schedule with availability including nights and weekends.
- Must be able to take a proactive role with the client
- This is a driving position; must have a clean DMV record
- Develop and lead the staff of security officers
- Understand and be able to apply orders for sites assigned
- Familiarity with all variations of security officer positions
- Completion of tasks as needed such as compliance, overtime control
- Ability to work both independently and in a group setting
