En tant que représentant à la spécification vous serez responsable de stimuler la croissance de nos ventes et de nos parts de marché dans les secteurs des édifices à bureaux, de l'industrie, de la santé et de l'éducation en travaillant en étroite collaboration avec des architectes et des ingénieurs-conseils. Vous mettrez en œuvre des stratégies de commercialisation pertinentes au niveau local pour découvrir de nouvelles opportunités d’affaires. Vous utiliserez les piliers de nos stratégies d'éclairage dans le contexte et les tendances des opportunités du marché local.

Vos responsabilités:

  • Établir et maintenir de bonnes relations d’affaire avec les ingénieurs, les architectes et les concepteurs, pour s'assurer que les produits d’éclairage Signify soient spécifiés sur les projets clés
  • Identifier et contacter de nouveaux prescripteurs afin de développer avec eux une relation commerciale durable. Les informer et mettre de l’avant nos produits et solutions Signify
  • Présenter de nouveaux produits à l'aide d'échantillons et démontrer les techniques d'installation.
  • Participer à la conception de l'éclairage dans les projets de nos professionnels et rechercher des opportunités pour spécifier les produits et systèmes Signify.
  • Participer à des salons professionnels et assister des collègues avec des présentations
  • Bâtir et maintenir une réserve de projets sains dans les divers segments de marché afin d'atteindre et de dépasser les objectifs de vente mensuels, trimestriels et annuels.

Ce qu’il vous faut:

  • Diplôme universitaire ou collégial en commerce, génie électrique, conception d'éclairage, sciences du bâtiment, gestion de la construction.
  • 3 à 5 ans d'expérience en vente dans l'industrie de la construction.
  • Connaissance de l'éclairage - Certification IES / LC un atout.
  • Maîtrise de Microsoft Office.
  • Orientation client et connaissance du processus de clôture de projet, un atout certain.
  • Connaissance des canaux et réseaux de distribution, un atout.
  • Excellentes compétences interpersonnelles, esprit d'équipe
  • Excellentes compétences en communication et en présentation
  • Excellentes compétences en gestion du temps et capacité à effectuer plusieurs tâches à la fois
  • Doit être capable de bien travailler sous pression
  • Bilingue en anglais et français

As Specification Sales Representative you’ll be responsible for driving market share growth within the office, industry, healthcare and education segments of our business by working closely with architects and consulting engineers. You implement locally relevant go to market strategies to uncover new opportunities for sales revenue. You execute the Lighting Strategy Pillars in the context of local market trends and opportunities.

What you’ll do

  • Establish and maintain a good working relationship with Engineers, Architects and Designers, to ensure that Signify Lighting products are specified on key projects
  • Identify and contact new specifiers in order to establish a business relationship and educate them on Signify products and solutions
  • Introduce new products using samples and demonstrate installation techniques
  • Assist in lighting design and seek opportunities to specify Signify products and systems
  • Solicit specifier assistance / cooperation in expediting shop drawings approval as required
  • Complete Spec registrations and share information with colleagues and /or agents in and out of the region, as necessary
  • Keep abreast of products and technologies through in-house training, external courses, trade publications, etc.
  • Participate in trade shows and assist colleagues with presentations
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of projects within various market segments in order to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets

Your qualifications

  • University or College graduate in Business, Electrical Engineering, Lighting Design, Building Sciences, Construction Management
  • 3-5 years sales experience in the Construction Industry
  • Lighting Knowledge – IES / LC Certification an Asset
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency with CAD is an asset
  • Customer focused and knowledge of project closing process a definite asset
  • Knowledge of distribution channels
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, team player
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask
  • Must be able to work well under pressure
  • Bilingual in English and French
