Spacelabs Healthcare is seeking an experienced Internal Tele Sales Representative to join our sales team within the Diagnostic Cardiology Organization. This position involves managing territories of the Diagnostic Cardiology Field Sales Representative to acquire qualified leads from current Spacelabs customers and qualified leads from competitive accounts in the US. The Internal Tele Sales Representative will qualify leads for all Diagnostic Cardiology products. The Internal Tele Sales Representative will focus on incremental revenue growth. The Sales Representative will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with Spacelabs’ valuable customers and the ability to navigate to the correct person in competitive accounts to acquire meetings and phone calls for the Field Diagnostic Sales Representatives. The position requires an individual with strong communication skills as they represent Spacelabs and the entire Diagnostic Cardiology organization through their daily interaction with our customers.

  • Manage the qualification of new leads for the US Diagnostic Sales force in current and competitive accounts
  • Execute quarterly and yearly sales objectives to meet business needs
  • Provide weekly updates to management regarding set target goals
  • Achieve quarterly quota targets through the leads acquired for field sales
  • Collaboration with the VP and Director of Diagnostic Cardiology along with the Field Diagnostic Sales Representatives to provide solutions and acquire leads that best fit customer needs
  • Enter accurate leads/opportunities into the CRM databases and ensure the Field Sales Representative takes control of the lead/opportunity
  • Responsible for assigned territories on all Diagnostic Cardiology products, the position will include cold-calling, generating new leads and prospecting accounts
  • Engage Capital Equipment Sales Representatives regarding customer accounts when necessary
  • Escalate any customer satisfaction issues to Management in a timely manner
  • Deliver the best in class customer satisfaction by listening and understanding our customers’ needs and developing customer solutions to fit customer needs

  • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing preferred
  • 5+ years of Sales Experience, with medical industry experience preferred
  • Experience working positively and productively in a team environment. Collaborative with highly developed relationship-building skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to interact with co-workers and customers with a professional and solutions-oriented approach
  • Attention to detail / organized approach to work. Able to manage multiple priorities and open issues, with demanding timelines
  • Must be able to travel for training and business meetings as needed


  • Successful completion of Spacelabs training required (including training done at Company location). Must become fully competent in the application and operation of all assigned processes and systems
  • May be required to work various hours as deemed necessary for successful quarterly closing, or to attend late night/early morning meetings by phone and/or web to meet business needs
