The Business Development, Strategic Partnerships team is dedicated to the development and implementation of strategic opportunities, partnering with technology leaders across all industries, to create value for Salesforce stakeholders and drive increased growth. We act as trusted advisors to leaders throughout the organization, collaborating with cross-functional teams and providing guidance to align strategies, growth initiatives, and partnerships with company-wide visions and goals.

Salesforce is seeking a dynamic and motivated candidate to join our Business Development, Strategic Partnerships team to build financial, commercial, and other business analysis to support the execution of partnerships and other strategic initiatives. These initiatives help Salesforce expand our market share, extend our platform, make customers more successful, and enter new markets. You will also support team leadership in developing partnership strategies and programs to scale new initiatives across the broader team and organization.

You bring distinctive project management and analytical skills around operational, technical, and financial workstreams and have the ability to effectively influence. You have a strategic perspective, the ability to clarify and summarize complex issues, and have strong attention to detail. Additionally, you thrive in a team-oriented environment, effectively work and communicate with cross-functional partners, at all levels of management.


  • Coordinate cross-functional project workstreams for business operations readiness related to our partnerships across the company.

  • Conduct research and build analyses to evaluate active and prospective strategic partnerships (e.g., market opportunity sizing, industry trends, competitive due diligence, GTM strategies, and modeling of deal economics)

  • Support planning and execution of new partnerships by collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product, Engineering, Distribution, Operations & Legal)

  • Work with senior stakeholders from all impacted Salesforce business units to prepare for launch, notably our finance and strategy teams

  • Drive project status reporting for stakeholders within the company

  • Support the development of presentations for internal stakeholders and senior management


  • 2+ years of experience in Investment Banking, Venture Capital, Financial or Management Consulting, or Finance/Operations teams at a technology company

  • Strong written and verbal interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with senior stakeholders

  • Strong skills in financial modeling and a core understanding of corporate finance and accounting principles

  • Proficient project management skills

  • High level of proficiency with Google Slides and Sheets and/or Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel

  • Ability to work with all levels of management and cross-functionally within Operations, Product, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, Business Development, Marketing, Legal, and Finance teams

  • Hard-working, quick learner with a passion for the technology industry

  • Detail-oriented hands-on operator who is self-motivated and able to prioritize multiple responsibilities

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and through ambiguous challenges

  • Results-driven with a high level of teamwork, accountability, and integrity

  • Creative problem-solver, both quantitatively and qualitatively
