Key Responsibilities:
Sales Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target markets.
Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline, forecasting future sales and performance metrics.
Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, designers, contractors, and other industry stakeholders.
Conduct regular follow-ups and maintain communication with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
Product Knowledge:
Maintain a deep understanding of our product lines, including technical specifications and design applications.
Provide expert guidance to clients on lighting solutions that meet their specific needs and project requirements.
Presentations and Demonstrations:
Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our architectural lighting products.
Participate in trade shows, industry events, and client meetings to promote our brand and products.
Proposal Development:
Prepare and present customized proposals and quotes for clients, ensuring clarity and alignment with their needs.
Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to ensure accurate and timely project specifications.
Market Research and Analysis:
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in architectural lighting.
Gather feedback from clients to inform product development and marketing strategies.
Administrative Duties:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and project statuses in the CRM system.
Provide regular reports to management on sales performance, market trends, and client feedback.
Collaboration:
Work closely with marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with company goals.
Collaborate with the installation and support teams to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.
Training and Development:
Participate in ongoing training to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
Share insights and best practices with team members to foster a collaborative and high-performing sales culture.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales, preferably in the architectural lighting or related industry.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence clients.
Technical acumen and a passion for innovative design and lighting solutions.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
