Job Description

Databricks is looking for someone to oversee our global order-to-cash (OTC) process and help create / transform processes to drive new initiatives and support our fast-growing organization. You will oversee a team, help develop them and build an internal customer service approach to work with each functional area to build effective processes and systems. You will report to the Senior Director, OTC and Revenue and will partner with Sales Operation, Deal Desk, Customer Success, Revenue, FP&A and other teams across the company to influence and increase results for different plans.

The impact you will have:

  • Dedicated leadership for the order-to-cash process following industry best practices
  • Be an expert for our sales contract execution, billing and collections processes
  • Oversee billing operations and order management to ensure accurate and complete bookings and billing information for accounting and reporting
  • Improve system enhancements with Sales Operations, Product and Technical Operations as it relates to all order to cash processes to increase efficiency and ensure scalability
  • Help guide important business initiatives to improve and address complex challenges such as CPQ implementation, subscription billing and revenue recognition solutions and other critical orders to cash projects
  • Lead the month-end and quarter-end close processes for bookings / billings / accounts receivables and support FP&A in building bookings and revenue forecasts
  • Develop a best in class team and plan for global operations at scale while following immediate term processes and timelines
  • Manage accounts receivable aging with a focus on reducing DSO; implement credit review and bad debt collection practices
  • Maintain OTC systems and processes to keep up with product and business changes

What we look for:

  • 10+ years of experience in order to cash / accounting operations roles - software/SaaS experience required
  • 6+ years of leadership experience and demonstrated ability to manage teams, guide process improvements
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
  • A customer focus - the ability to help internal stakeholders, articulate their needs and produce outputs to guide decisions
  • A deep understanding of the sales process and the ability to navigate and progress long, complex sales cycles
  • Great at business partnering and working with teams, building meaningful business relationships along the way
  • Experience recruiting, training, managing, and developing staff
  • Knowledge of sales, CRM, and accounting systems such as Salesforce and Netsuite

Key Accountabilities  * Create customer success plans to drive growth for each account  * Support solution design and technical implementation of current desired integrations as outlined in the customer success plan. * Monitor user adoption and product utilization and create targeted programs to increase engagement and support the agency's change management process. * Build strong relationships between the Miovision product and support teams to ensure continuous resolution of ongoing operational issues as well as product deficiencies that may come up.  * Participate in regular support and health checks to ensure accounts are continuing to derive value from our solutions * Support software renewal and upselling activities  Skills/Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree or recognized equivalency or achievement of recognized professional level * 5+ years of technical experience; must understand network products * Ability to travel internationally, providing on-site consulting work to clients * Ability to manage multiple projects utilizing strong planning and organizational skills * Experience with general consulting skills that include team facilitation, business case development, strong business analysis skills, process mapping and process redesign * Systems implementation skills: requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change management and support * Analytical nature with the ability to solve complex business issues * Basic understanding of product development and engineering processes.  We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
