Area Manager/Sales Representative - Dallas Area

The Company:

Monarch Metal, headquartered in Ronkonkoma, NY with locations in Grand Prairie, TX, and Sparks, NV, is the leader in providing engineered systems to mount interior and exterior panels. The business has rapidly grown by delivering innovative products, rapid shipping, expanded geographical locations, and extraordinary service to architectural woodworkers, installers, general contractors, roofers, and subcontractors. We manufacture and deliver engineered hanging systems allowing customers to accomplish build outs in the interior space as well as the exterior space. We offer cutting edge products available to ship in one-to-two business days from three different areas of the United States. We also fabricate for customers who need custom specifications met in a short time period.

The Position:

We are looking for an area manager/sales representative based in the Dallas Fort Worth area to cultivate and sell to a book of business of new and existing customers. This position will play a leading role in expanding our customer base in the exterior rain screen substructure space as well as our interior wall panel systems. The position offers a competitive base salary along with a variable commission structure paid out monthly based on performance and reports to the director of sales.

The mission critical functions of this role will be:

· Help to educate customers about new and existing products while also closing business assisting them in the completion and successful delivery of their projects.

· Focus on our Easy Panel System (EPS), slatwall and accessories, new products, and our cladding substructure business.

· Serve as a conduit to new product development for feedback on customer and market needs.

· Work with customers on project specific estimating and project management.

· Cultivate a network of contractors, architectural millworkers, installers, and A and D representatives nationally.

· Successfully increase the opportunity pipeline and convert opportunities to closed/won as part of a fun and tight knit sales team.

· Convert opportunities to closed projects taking advantage of manufacturing and fulfillment advantages in NY, TX, and NV.

· Be a knowledge expert and solutions provider for our customers seeking help. Be able to add value to their process and become a lynch pin for them.

· Hungry, humble, smart with a passion for learning and excelling.

· Architectural drawing experience is a critical function to excel in this role.

· Willing and able to track customers and projects in NetSuite CRM.

Requirements Include:

· Experience in the Architectural & Design channel or interior/exterior design would be helpful, but not necessary.

· Experience selling in the building materials or AEC space would be very helpful to be successful in this role.

· Commercial construction background/process knowledge would be helpful.

· Experience in estimating and project management.

· Capable of being remote, utilizing tools that facilitate meetings and knowledge dissemination, works well within a team.

· Pipeline management and CRM usage to manage projects, pipeline, results, and project management.
