As an Oil Field Service Sales Representative, you will be responsible for targeting, soliciting, and securing new oil and gas fracturing/Powergen business, maintaining, and growing accounts. Responsible for driving continual revenue and profitability growth through effective sales strategies and initiatives. Developing strong partnerships with customers, vendors, and internal team members.
Primary functions & responsibilities
· Contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs, and to explain how these needs could be met by specific products and services (Frac, Powergen and/or Engine Services)
· Quote prices, credit terms, and other bids specifications
· Negotiate prices and terms of sales and service agreements
· Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences
· Prepare sales contracts for orders obtained, and submit orders for processing
· Maintain customer records, using automated systems
· Developing customer relations and technical service coordination
· Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms
· Collaborate with colleagues to exchange information such as selling strategies and marketing information
· Emphasize product features based on analyses of customers' needs, and on the technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations
· Select the correct products or assist customers in making product selections, based on customers' needs, product specifications, and applicable regulations
· Working with Service Team after delivery
· Ability to be on call 24 hours a day
Qualifications
· Must have 5+ years previous sales experience in the oil and gas and fracturing equipment industry. Prior experience with Power Generation would be a plus.
· 2- or 4-year degree in a business-related field preferred.
· Good computer skills.
· Great follow-up skills to respond to customers in a timely manner.
· Ability to work well with diverse customers.
· Ability to cold call and build customer relationships.
· Ability to problem-solve - deal with customer complaints in a timely manner and identify appropriate solutions.
· Must be able to speak persuasively using appropriate interpersonal styles to gain agreement.
· Ability to calculate discounts and profit associated with a selling price; to calculate commissions associated with performance; to take measurements and calculate inputs and costs.
· Ability to read and understand product data sheets, material safety data sheets, scientific and technical journals, cost reports, and legal documents.
· Ability to analyze territory performance reports. Ability to analyze problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and write technical reports to communicate the information.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
